Broadway greats come out against Russia . . . in song!

Thus far, everyone from Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird to Michael Lucas’s flawless cheekbones* has called out Russia’s gay-propaganda laws. But we haven’t heard from the gayest profession there is: Broadway!

Thankfully, some of Broadway’s biggest names have come together to address the deplorable social conditions in Russia. And the best part? They structured their views as a musical. That’s right: one of the most homophobic countries in the modern world criticized in the gayest fashion possible.

Clocking in at almost 12 minutes long and with songs penned by Jason Michael Snow, the video features appearances by Jonathan Groff, Andrew Rannells, Sierra Boggess, Laura Osnes, Harvey Fierstein, and even a quick voice-over by Dan Savage.

So take a good look, Russia. See all this talent? This is what you’re missing.

*No, seriously, his bone structure is majestic. MAJESTIC.
