Alan Cumming on Shia LaBeouf grabbing his ‘sexy’ ass

Following Shia LaBeouf’s appearance on Jimmy Kimmel, where he talked about his arrest at a Broadway performance of Cabaret, starring Alan Cumming and Michelle Williams, for drunken antics that included smoking in the theatre and grabbing the ass of Cumming — who LaBeouf described as “the sexiest man he’s ever seen” — Cumming appeared on Conan to give his side of the story.

“He was just wasted. He was wasted from the second he walked in, so there was an atmosphere when I went down to do the show that everyone was freaking out because someone seemed to be a crazy person in the audience,” Cumming said. “We’ve all done things where we’ve been out of it and messed up, and not everyone has to deal with it on such a worldwide scale, so I think he’s made a very good recovery. And he did say I was the sexiest man he’s ever seen!”
