A Man Vanishes
A man disappears without a trace in Montreal, Quebec, in 2013. Two months later he reappears, looking worse for wear, at Videofag, a performance space in Toronto. The proprietors take him in and make him a part of their lives — until he disappears again. Greg MacArthur’s new play is based on a film noir work of the same name.

A Line in the Sand
Morgan David Jones stars as a gay soldier in a production of a revised version of a 1995 play. It highlights Canada’s involvement in war overseas, and gets into such themes as the acceptance of — or pushback against — queer people in the armed forces. Jones plays a man whose repressed sexual desires lead to destruction and death.

Gertrude and Alice
American novelist, poet and playwright Gertrude Stein and her partner Alice B Toklas visit a present-day audience to ask, “How well are we remembered?” They want to know how history has treated them, and on the way, recount stories of their 40-year relationship and their meetings with various famous artists and writers. A new play celebrates the lives of the famous pair.

Drag Race at The Gladstone
The House of Filth presents a weekly event where folks get together and watch the latest episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 8.
