Scooter McCreight presents his top-10 tracks of the moment

Hometown: Toronto

Bio: Toronto partygoers might know Scooter McCreight from his monthly Cub Camp event or from his sex-positive party Trade at the Black Eagle. Over the past year, he’s been taking his talents on the road, bringing his dark mix of house and techno to underground queer parties like Hustlaball (NYC), WestGay (NYC), Room Service (LA), Honcho (Pittsburgh), Men’s Room (Chicago) and Raunch (LA).

1. Frustra – “Afrika

Get ready for Frustra to crack open the Toronto scene. Mad love for what this kid is producing right now.

2. The Carry Nation, The Cucarachas – “The Oracle (Fatherhood Remix)

I love The Carry Nation more than I love myself.

3. Shinichi Osawa – “Bang Bang

The latest track to be added to my sets.

4. Mr G – “My Fathers Farda (Mr G’s Soundboyz Dub)

Pulled this one out at around 6:30am during my set at Honcho in Pittsburgh. It worked.

5. Boy Pussy – “Wide Open

This is the performer to watch. Caught this track performed live at Judy & Igby’s Summer Camp Talent Show, and she can command a stage.

6. Cajmere & Oliver $, featuring Dajae – “We Can Make It (Original Mix)

I’ve been spinning this track all summer and everyone has been queening the fuck out.

7. Charlotte OC – “Hangover (Moodymann Remix)

Giving you sex with your hangover. A nice starter for the night.

8. Todd Terry – “ Move Your Body (Hardsoul Remix)

Pelvic thrust! Pelvic thrust! Pelvic thrust!

9. Adam Beyer & Ida Engberg – “You Know (Original Mix)

Deep house and killer vocals. A favourite of mine.

10. Route 94, Jess Glynne & Rocky NTi – “My Love (Frustra Remix)

Closing off the list with a Frustra remix. I’ve had this one on repeat, and you should too.
