VIDEO: Kenyan filmmakers come out ahead of TIFF premiere

Brave move done in solidarity with gay people who shared their stories

A group of Kenyan filmmakers have come out publicly just hours before the world premiere of their film, Stories of Our Lives (in the TIFF program, the film’s directors are listed as “Anonymous”). The movie, being shown at the Toronto International Film Festival, is a weaving of stories from LGBT people who describe their lives in the East African country.
