The price of fame for Tom Daley: sex offers

Since coming out in December 2013 and revealing he is partnered with Oscar-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black, 19-year-old Olympic diver Tom Daley has been getting a lot of attention . . . especially from horny fans.

“Some people just come up and offer [sex] there and then,” Daley told comedian James Corden in an interview for The Sun. “Yeah, it does happen quite often. Some people come up to me and say, ‘Do you want to go back?’ And I’m like ‘What do you mean? The whole reason I did this was because I have a boyfriend.’”

The coveted diver also shared some of the platonic — but no less entertaining — encounters he’s had following his coming-out YouTube video. “A woman said, ‘Your video inspired my son to tell me he’s gay,’” Daley told Corden. “And I was like, ‘Oh my God! Tell him I said hi’ and she said, ‘Yeah but he does have a wife and three kids!’”

Daley is currently back in the pool and living in London with Lance Black after joining the Great Britain team competing in the FINA Diving World Series in April.
