God hates bags

LGBT label Revel & Riot is using Westboro Baptist Church’s notorious “God hates fags” slogan (with a slight tweak) against them on their merchandise. The ingenious “God hates bags” are selling for $20.

“[Fred] Phelps’ cult is built on a core of anti-homosexual theology, and their most famous slogan, “God hates fags,” is also the name of their primary website,” Revel & Riot explain. “Gay rights activists, as well as Christians of virtually every denomination, have denounced him as a producer of anti-gay propaganda and violence-inspiring hate speech. With GOD HATES BAGS, we ridicule the horrible and hateful Westboro Basptist Church’s famous rallying call and encourage people to stop using plastic bags!”
