Richard Branson does drag for billionaire bet

Richard Branson and Tony Fernandes both own airlines and Formula One racing teams, so the two billionaires made a bet that whoever’s F1 team lost to the other had to dress in drag and be a flight attendant on their competitor’s airline.

Fernandes’s team finished two spots before Branson’s, and so Richard shaved his lips, threw on some red lipstick and werked as an attendant on AirAsia.

“[I’m] glad to have gotten the bet over with and (am) looking forward to getting back into my clothes,” Richard said of his first time in drag. “I always wanted to be an air hostess, but it looks like I have to get back to normality.”

When asked how Branson ranked as an air hostess, Fernandes said, “Out of 10, maybe one, for a bit of humour.”

Branson may have lost the bet and had to fly in drag, but he got his revenge on Fernandes, who joined him on the flight and spent most of it in his underwear after getting soaked with juice. “I wanted to kill him actually [for spilling the juice]. He looked at me, I said, ‘Don’t you dare,’ and the next thing I know, he tipped the whole tray on me,” Fernandes said. “He and the girls mopped it up, but I was walking around the flight in my underwear for a while because I didn’t bring another pair of trousers.”
