Valentine’s Day feminist walking tour

On a day when most will be thinking about fucking and flowers, the youth of Insight Theatre would like to walk you through some of our city’s feminist milestones.

The Feb 14 feminist history walking tour will enlighten interested parties about contraceptives and abortion in Ottawa and the conception of Black History Month, as well as honouring locals who have fought for trans women’s rights.

This event is made possible with financial support from the Girls Action Foundation as part of their National Day of Action, which coincides with V-Day each year. This year’s theme is community history.
