“First a trip to Italy and now a 1am listserve?”

Re: yesterday’s blog

Oh inappropriate sposal abuse cartoons. You make me laugh…and rue the day…at the same time.

Re: Vitamin V

I can hardly believe mine eyes. Check out the time stamp on this bad bad girl. First a trip to Italy and now a 1am listserve? What the fuck is going on girls? And why didn’t you call me about it? I remember the days when 3oz wine samplers = happy hour. Actually, I don’t remember those days. But if by “3oz recommended wine pairings” you mean “bottle service” and by “happy hour” you mean “reputation maker”, I am having flashbacks to Bangkok and not even power hour can stop them.

SERIOUSLY: time stamp, people. It’s worthy of a blog posting in itself:

POWER HOUR

When it comes to play, our packed schedules relegate downtime (read: massages and quality couch time with Gossip Girl) to paltry 60-minute increments.

But when we heard about Goldfish Pacific Kitchen’s
happy hour with delicious nibbles like wok tossed dry ribs, crispy
coconut prawns and tuna tartare all under $5, we decided to work the
room like Entourage’s Ari Gold.

And with the
tempting 3oz recommended wine pairings from Poplar Grove, Kettle Valley
and Lake Breeze, to name a few, we think happy hour just might turn

into a very, very good night.

Goldfish Pacific
Kitchen Happy Hour is available in the lounge area, Monday-Friday (4
p.m.-6:30 p.m.), 1118 Mainland St., Vancouver,
604-689-8318, www.goldfishkitchen.com
