It was all over Facebook and Twitter yesterday, but late last night, the O’s Will McGuire confirmed it:

“LABOUR DAY WEEKEND (Sept 5) will be the end of an era, but we’ve got a LOT of partying to do before then! GET YOUR PRIDE TIX ASAP ’cause we’re bringing the place down! And prepare for a month unlike any you’ve seen before in August as we blow the roof off a venue that’s been a mainstay in Van for 25 YEARS”

In a few short weeks, another one of Vancouver’s few gay night spaces will be gone…
