The former Calgary mayor now leads the Alberta NDP, and he brings with him a history with the LGBTQ2S+ community

Naheed Nenshi is the new leader of the Alberta NDP. But what is his track record on LGBTQ2S+ rights, and what could his leadership mean for queer and trans people in Alberta?

Senior editor Mel Woods breaks down what you need to know about the new Alberta NDP leader.
