Kate McKinnon does Jodie Foster (wait, that came out wrong . . .)

Last night, Saturday Night Live came back after a month-long hiatus and came out of the gate . . . fine. Not great, not bad, just fine. Jennifer Lawrence did her best, but when your big anchor sketch is “TOP CHEF, BUT WITH DOGS!” you’re kinda scraping for laughs. (Actually, on the subject of “Top Dog Chef”: how is that not a fake sketch from 30 Rock, meant to show how bad TGS is?)

But there was one pretty solid bit from the night: Kate McKinnon once again proving that she can impersonate literally anyone by doing a pitch-perfect impression of Jodie Foster sorta coming out. Just genius. Absolutely genius.
