I am a major Star Wars fan. I really love A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back. Watched them zillions of times (the other four chapters, not so much). Han Solo’s chest hair is still a pinnacle hard-on-inducing visual for me. “Great, kid. Don’t get cocky.”

Flickr group Growing Up Star Wars is a riot. People share childhood photos of themselves as “younglings,” dressed as their favourite character for Halloween or opening some fucking awesome Kenner playset on Christmas morning.

I especially like the innumerable pics of boys proudly displaying their R2-D2 birthday cakes. Although little girls as Princess Leia trumps that… But where are the boy Leias and the girl Lukes? May the Force be with you — seriously.
