Xtra photographer Max Lander headed to the Church-Wellesley intersection on the evening of Saturday, Aug 3, to take photos of what was titled the International Day of Protest over Russia’s Attack on LGBT People. An emotional evening for many, the march from the Village finished in front of the Russian consulate at Bloor and Church streets.
