Deadly Winnipeg bathhouse fire was arson: police

Winnipeg police say that arson was the
cause of a deadly bathhouse fire, reports the CBC.

Two men died as a result of the Oct 11 fire
at Aquarius Bath. The first victim was identified as 23-year-old Steven Yablonski, a
popular drag queen also known as Kerri O’Kee.

A crowd of over 200 gathered outside the
bathhouse on Oct 12
to remember Yablonski, who was described as an active volunteer, a good friend and “great singer.”

Days later, the second victim was

identified as Robert Clark, 62.

The CBC reports that homicide investigators
are now leading the investigation.
