A doctoral student at the University of Oregon has published a new study on gay sex between straight rural men. In a phenomenon he calls “bud sex,” he discovered that some straight men see their same-sex sexual encounters as making them even more stereotypically masculine.

North Carolina to drop “bathroom bill”
Republicans in North Carolina have agreed to repeal Bill HB2, a notorious piece of legislation that stripped LGBT people of antidiscrimination protections and forced trans people to use bathrooms corresponding to the sex on their birth certificate.
