Dr. Katrina Karkazis discusses rethinking the popular understanding of testosterone

Dr. Katrina Karkazis, co-author of Testosterone: An Unauthorized Biography and author of Fixing Sex: Intersex, Medical Authority, and Lived Experience, answers questions and dispels popular myths about testosterone. Dr. Karkazis explains, “It’s a really wide-ranging, fascinating hormone that’s actually responsible for a great deal more than it’s popular identity would lead us to know or understand.”
