The motion of the Ocean

A couple days ago, Frank Ocean publicly came out as either bisexual or gay, depending on who you ask (he hasn’t mentioned if he’s exclusive or not). More than a few people focused more on the fact that someone respected in the R&B community came out than who exactly it was. Turns out, if you didn’t know who Frank Ocean was before, you’re going to become a fan very soon.

The first track off Ocean’s upcoming album, Channel Orange, hit the web a couple days ago, and it’s really quite amazing. It sounds a bit like John Legend, but the word play behind it is a little more clever and tight. If you’ve been wondering who Frank Ocean is, this makes for a pretty good introduction.
