The Runaways just became available online, and I had to grab it and watch it again. Such a titillating story of girls, rock and the ’70s that one. It’s reawakened the dormant obsession with the era I used to have. I grew up on that music, playing records in my mom’s basement. I still have all of those vinyls ,but I never had my own player until BANG! I scored one at the Mission the other day. And it was 50 percent off! They have a sale once a month on the Tuesday and Wednesday.

Anyway, Suzi Quatro inspired the lady rockers… and she’s a riot.
