Sook-yin Lee: Burn my Paris

Oh my jesus, Sook Yin Lee’s first feature film, Year of the Carnivore, is almost out! Sort of…. The trailer makes me drool. Just listen to the description (and by listen, I mean read the following aloud): “SAMMY SMALLS is a 21-year-old tomboy who works as a store detective at Big Apple Food Town. Her job is to deliver shoplifters to her boss who beats them up so they never reoffend.”

It’s out in Montreal (Toronto, Vancouver) on June 18th. Also, Sook Yin was once (maybe still is?) bisexual.
