Shades of Purple

Maryland-based band Bye June has just released the video for the song “Shades of Purple.” The song is about love, marriage and equality, and the video utilized the talent of shadowgrapher Sati Achath. I think this is one of the most beautiful videos I have seen in a long time. So well done and moving. Hard to believe those are hands!

Upon the video’s release, band member Gil Kline said, “We asked our fans to choose a track for a music video, and they voted online for this song. I am very pleased, since this song has deep meaning and an important social message. Also, we were fortunate to have Mr Achath on our team. He truly brought the characters to life.”
