Popping culture: Rick Mercer sends electronic greetings to GSA Conference

This weekend, The Youth Project, which works with and supports queer youth across Nova Scotia — organized Oout Loud!, a conference for gay-straight alliances from across the province.

Greeting the attendees was a welcoming and wonderful address from none other than Rick Mercer, delivered from the set of his show, The Rick Mercer Report. It’s nice to know that even though Mercer no longer lives on the East Coast, he hasn’t forgotten about all of us out here.
