Board Game Night Encore: Dead of Winter
We’re in the middle of a winter as cold as a vampire’s eyes and as dark as a witch’s soul, but there’s nothing to fear. Just huddle up with a few of your dorkiest friends. Maybe scavenge for food and medicine. And make sure to try not to be torn to slimy red bits by famished zombies. This edition of the Toronto Gaymers’ recurring game event is focused on Dead of Winter. Other games are on hand for those who don’t want to play a long co-op game.

The V Stands for Variety, You Perverts
The Flying Beaver may have burned down, it’s charred timbers still smoking in the frigid winter air (well, not really), but Maggie Cassella didn’t. She’s performing in and producing a new monthly cabaret series in the village. She’s joined by funny ladies Shannon McDonough, Katie Ford (Emmy Award–winning writer from the show Family Ties and creator of the movie Miss Congeniality) and musical guest Jennifer Walls for a night of titters, tunes and much more.

It really sets the tone when a dance party’s promotional material says that sex is not limited to the backroom. A bunch of sluts get into their gear (or at least it’s encouraged), get it on (they’d really like you to) and get down to DJ Joshua Reid’s soundtrack of dark and dirty techno and tech house. The fifth edition of A Bearded Boy’s sex-positive party include dancers and demos. Everyone’s heading to Steamworks afterward for additional whoring.

Sapphic Aquatica: Third Anniversary Party
The recurring sex party for women and trans folk is only turning three years old, but it’s never been innocent. The anniversary celebration includes an eclectic mix of entertainment. When not off being dirty in the many rooms or in the hot tub, attendees enjoy Sasha’s lap dance workshop, Hoa Nguyen’s live poetry, Sybian rides and performances by Judy Virago and Belle Jumelles. DJ Cozmic Cat spins. This doubles as a fundraiser for the Rainbow Railroad.

Inside Out Four-Play Screening Series: Ville Marie
European actor Sophie Bernard has travelled to Montreal to shoot a movie. While she’s there, she attempts to reconnect with her estranged gay son, Thomas. But Thomas has something else in mind; he wants to learning the identity of his father. Tragedy then thrusts the pair into the lives of an emergency room nurse and a paramedic plagued by post traumatic stress disorder. This is a screening of a 2015 movie directed by Guy Édoin.
