Sashay Summer

The big dance party with something for everyone returns with Montreal’s. DJ Fred Miller headlining. Entertainment also includes DJ Ashley Gauthier, go-go boys and drag performances by Markida Brown, Kiki Coe, Koko Shennel and Jasmine Dymond.

Oh My Jam

The Queer Mafia’s hip hop, R&B, dancehall and reggae party returns with a special guest — Toronto’s DJ Craig Dominic. Entertainment also includes DJ D-luxx Brown. Takes place during Glow Fair, when Bank Street (right outside the club) is transformed into a festival of music, lights and art. The venue is accessible.

Tuesday, June 20

Don’t Panic! Gaymer Night at Swizzles

For a change of pace, here’s a delightfully nerdy games night for queer people and allies. The featured board game this evening is Castle Panic, with the Dark Titan and Mage Tower expansion packs. Star Trek Panic (a Star Trek–themed version of the game) is also on hand.

Thursday, June 22

Queers in the Courtyard: Fancy Edition

Queers of every stamp enjoy bubbly libations on the cobblestones at this laid-back, summery patio party. Features music by DJ Aga. The event is organized by Queering613, a local queer advocacy group. The venue is not accessible.

Friday, June 23

Spring Time Homo Hop

The party billed as “the friendliest little dance party in town” returns with the finest house, funk, hip hop and pop beats. Features DJs del Pilar and D-luxx Brown. The venue is mostly accessible (the front door has no button and the washrooms are small).

Friday, June 30

Oh Manada!

BoylesqueTO, the all-male burlesque troupe, brings its over-the-top Canada-themed show in Ottawa in celebration of the country’s 150th birthday. It’s a sexy, silly performance full of raunchy Mounties, dancing beavers and a lumberjack that will give you wood.
