TORONTO, ON – June, 2026: The Open Digital Literacy and Access Network (ODLAN) and Wisdom2Action are proud to announce the launch of their latest project, “Fostering Online Cultural Safety for 2SLGBTQIA+ Diasporic Communities: Addressing Mis/disinformation.”

ODLAN is excited to partner with Wisdom2Action on this new project supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ diasporic communities across Canada. Together, we’ll be working to raise awareness about the spread of mis/disinformation related to gender, sexuality, race, and nationality and creating community-driven ways to respond to it.
This project contributes to the Digital Citizen Contribution Program (DCCP) by empowering 2SLGBTQIA+ diasporic community members with tangible, co-designed resources and providing community organizations with the tools and insights needed to foster greater digital resilience.
