New York State reaches a higher level of enlightenment

I must give MAJOR congratulations to my old stomping ground of New York! The state senate has finally legalized same-sex marriage, making New York the sixth state in the US to grant equal rights. Amidst the anniversary of Stonewall and NYC Pride, this is truly a momentous triumph. You have no idea how badly I wish that I were there last night; I’m sure it was out of control!

What a victory for the Empire State. Six down and 44 to go. Great change takes time, but we’re getting there!
