Happy birthday, HP Lovecraft!

I’m writing this blog as a prisoner. Specifically, my family has taken me prisoner for a family vacation, which means a week of keeping my dad from getting rum-drunk and hitting on waitresses. On a side note, I am single-handedly putting my psychiatrist’s kids through college.

Speaking of unimaginable horrors, today is a very special day for horror fans because it’s HP Lovecraft’s birthday! For those of you who have been reading the wrong kind of books, HP Lovecraft is pretty much one of the biggest, if not the biggest, names in horror. He’s the guy behind the internet sensation known as Cthulhu and pretty much everything else you fear. So happy birthday, Lovecraft. And remember, kids: the lucky ones will be eaten first (before the cake)!
