Jonathan Agassi and Scott Carter in one of five hardcore scenes from "After Hours," which was broadcast during CHCH's morning news.
Viewers of CHCH Morning Live show in Hamilton were treated to three minutes of hardcore gay pornography at approximately 9:30am on Friday, April 20, in a mixup that the station’s news director attributed to a mechanical problem at the channel’s cable carrier.
Right in the middle of Morning Live, the signal abruptly cut to hardtv’s broadcast of the Lucas Entertainment adult video After Hours. The hardcore movie, in which “10 international sluts cruise each other on the streets of Berlin,” played for several minutes until the station regained control of its broadcast.
According to Lucas Entertainment’s website, After Hours shows how “when the day is done the men in suits waste no time stripping down and fucking hard!”
Hamilton viewers were briefly able to watch “horned-up professionals aggressively rip off their work clothes, stuff their hungry mouths, choke on throbbing cock, and pound their partners’ spit-soaked assholes until everyone is hot and sweaty, covered in huge warm loads of cum!”
CHCH news director Mike Katrycz told the Hamilton Spectator that the problem arose when “there was a cable cut at a cable company somewhere [Thursday] night and somewhere in the repair of it put in some alternative programming which wasn’t ours.”
While the staff at CHCH have expressed horror at the mixup, hardtv general manager Brett Drysdale says the situation is worth a laugh. “All I can say is I’m glad it was a high production value, quality porn playing from a top-notch studio. I emailed the owner of Lucas Entertainment and he said it was hilarious.”
Oddly, none of the media coverage so far has indicated that the hardcore porn that temporarily took over the morning news was gay porn, or that it was broadcast by hardtv.
Hardtv is a digital, 24/7, gay porn channel available across Canada. If you’d like to subscribe, ask your service provider for more information.
Hardtv is operated by Pink Triangle Press, which also publishes Xtra.
Twitter lit up in the hours after the accidental porn broadcast, with viewers mocking the incident using the hashtag #chPorningLive, after a suggestion by Hamilton Spectator reporter Emma Reilly.
“My mom commented on #chPorningLive. ‘I’m surprised the guy didn’t choke to death!’” tweeted @DoctorKahuna.
