Gay guide to biking in Ottawa

Hit up some familiar places & find hidden gems

Cycling enthusiasts operate on a compressed timeline. From snowmelt to first snowstorm is only six months. That means there’s no time to dick around. So get on your bike and get out there.

Capital Xtra’s Noreen Fagan has charted a shorter, mid-length and an endurance trek. Along the way, she points out some familiar places — and some hidden gems — along the way. Stop for charcuterie or cupcakes, hire a horse and carriage or swim at Meech Lake. See you out there!
