Don’t Quit Your Gay Job!

The second season of OutTV’s hilarious hit reality series Don’t Quit Your Gay Job kicked off Sept 5, starring Xtra’s former social columnist and blogger, the delicious Sean Horlor, and his pal Rob Easton.

On the premiere episode, Sean and Rob tackled the duties of Vancouver’s finest, joining the Vancouver Police Department. They were homo popos! I just love a man in uniform. They weren’t involved in anything as severe as the riots, which is definitely a good thing, because while the looters were breaking into Sears and London Drugs, I’m sure Sean and Rob’s gay instinct would’ve been to protect Michael Kors and Holt Renfrew.

I think it’s totally cool of the VPD to embrace the gay community like this. It says a lot about how tolerant we’ve grown as a nation, compared to the gay raids of the ‘70s. A big thank-you to all the men and women who put their lives at risk every day to keep us safe. I just wanna blow you all!

In case you missed it, check out a clip from the Don’t Quit Your Gay Job VPD edition, as well as a promo for an upcoming episode where Sean and Rob roll on the ground and get sweaty (sounds like what I’m going to be doing tomorrow night at 8-Bit Spit) with wrestlers Scotty Mac and El Phantasmo!

Don’t Quit Your Gay Job airs on OutTV Mondays at 8pm ET/5pm PT.
