Marjorie Celona is the author of the novels Y and How a Woman Becomes a Lake. Their short fiction has appeared in The O. Henry Prize Stories, Best American Nonrequired Reading, Harvard Review and elsewhere. Born and raised on Vancouver Island, they teach in the MFA program at the University of Oregon.
