j wallace skelton is an Assistant Professor of Queer Studies in Education at the University of Regina, in Regina Saskatchewan. This is Treaty Four territory, and the home of the nêhiyawak, Anihšināpēk, Dakota, Lakota, and Nakoda, and the of the Métis/Michif Nation. j’s academic work is about queer and trans studies in education, child agency, and ways that schools might be places of possibility rather than restriction.
