Femi Redwood (she/her) is the managing producer of podcasts for 1010 WINS Radio and WCBS-AM 880 in New York City. She also hosts Beyond Black History Month, a weekly podcast that explores all things Black. She also co-hosts the podcast, It's OK to Say Gay. Prior to her audio work, she was a TV news correspondent and anchor. Some of her previous stations included CBS Newspath and VICE News. Femi spends her spare time co-chairing the National Association of Black Journalists LGBTQ+ Task Force . She is also a board member of NLGJA: The Association of LGBTQ Journalists. Femi speaks English and lives in Brooklyn, NY with her wife and cat.
