A recent issue of the superhero comic Catwoman confirmed what many fans had suspected: Catwoman is bisexual. Writer Genevieve Valentine assured readers that Catwoman’s flirtation with Batman would be unaffected. “Please be assured that Selina’s longstanding connection to Batman has not been forgotten,” she wrote. “That is not how bisexuality (or humanity) works.”

Indian censors muted the word “lesbian”
The Indian Censor Board muted the word “lesbian” from a recent romantic comedy Dum Laga Ke Haisha, according to documents, prompting anger on Twitter. “Since when is it a bad word?” one Indian Tweeter wrote.
