A fanciful parade of colour

Capital Pride hit a high note this year with its longest parade to date. The colourful event wrapped up the 10-day festival, which started on a sombre note with the death of Jack Layton and popular Ottawa drag queen Sultana.

It was a fun-filled parade, with groups like the Senior Pride Network and Ottawa-Carleton District School Board marching for the first time.

Xtra was there and the photos prove it!
