Daily Xtra’s four-part series on pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) has been nominated for a Rockie Award at the Banff World Media Festival. PrEP: Can This Pill Prevent HIV? is up for an award in the Webseries Nonfiction category.

The series was directed and hosted by Nic Kazamia. Its executive producer is David Walberg; Scott Humphries is editor and director of photography, and Frank Prendergast is the producer.

The winner of the award will be announced during the Banff World Media Festival, which takes place June 8 to 11 in the Alberta resort town.

Above is the complete series, which is part of Daily Xtra’s ongoing coverage of PrEP.

On occasion, the number of editors and other staff who contribute to a story gets a little unwieldy to give a byline to everyone. That’s when we use “Xtra Staff” in place of the usual contributor info. If you would like more information on who contributed to a particular story, please contact us here.
