TIFF selects its top 10 Canadian films of 2013

Strong queer showing in this year's list

Canadian filmmaker Xavier Dolan talks with Daily Xtra about his latest work, Tom at the Farm.

Now that 2013 has drawn to a close, the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) has selected the top Canadian films of 2013.

There is plenty of queer content on the list, including Xavier Dolan’s Tom at the Farm, Chloé Robichaud’s Sarah Prefers to Run and veteran filmmaker Denis Côté’s Vic + Flo Saw a Bear.

If it’s Hollywood hunks you are after, be sure to catch Jake Gyllenhaal in Prisoners and Daniel Radcliffe in The F Word. Radcliffe was the talk of the town at TIFF with his portrayal of Allen Ginsberg in Kill Your Darlings.

See the above video for Xtra‘s interview with Xavier Dolan about his film Tom at the Farm.
