Toronto Mayor Rob Ford is currently embroiled in a scandal involving drugs. It is not his first.
In a June 2010 audio tape published on xtra.ca, Ford, who was also found in possession of marijuana in Florida in 1999, says he will help a supporter procure OxyContin.
The prescription drug – often referred to as “hillbilly heroin” – is frequently sold on the streets.
Ford, who last week was accused of smoking crack cocaine, has said the current allegations against him are “ridiculous.”
