The Pussy Palace grrrls want your money for their defence fund.
The fundraiser Pussies Bite Back is a cabaret featuring Dominadella, TJ Bryant, Mariko Tamaki and more. It will be held at 8pm on Sat, Nov 4 at Pope Joan (547 Parliament). Admission is $10.
The University Of Toronto gay group hosts a women-only Hussihop on Sat, Nov 18 at The Hangar (100 St George St). Admission $5 before 10pm, $6 after (and it’s cheaper for students).
Then there’s the fundraiser for those with big money. The group Friends Of The Women’s Bath House Defence Fund is “delighted to invite you to register your outrage by eating oysters. Yes indeed, there will be mollusks all around!”
Patrons include bon vivants Paul Austin, Jamie Watt, High Clarkson, Meredith Cartwright and Liberal MPs Carolyn Bennett and Bill Graham.
