Edmund White, author of such classic books as The Joy of Gay Sex, A Boy’s Own Story and Genet: A Biography has now turned his attention to French poet Arthur Rimbaud. The newly released book, Arthur Rimbaud, The Double Life of a Rebel, delves into the famous poet’s work, his influences and his tumultuous relationship with fellow poet, Paul Verlaine. We spoke with White at his home in New York City.
