TIFF 2010: Quebec’s Xavier Dolan addresses his critics

Filmmaker returns with second feature film, Heartbeats

Success has come quickly for 21-year-old Quebec filmmaker Xavier Dolan. Last year, his debut film, I Killed My Mother, won three awards at Cannes and was selected as Canada’s official entry for Best Foreign Language film at the Oscars. Dolan was at TIFF for the English Canadian premiere of his second feature film, Heartbeats, and we talked with him about his critics. Watch:
