Madonna graces red carpet at TIFF

Madge promotes new film, WE

Madonna is at TIFF this year with her film WE and is leaving a swath of controversy in her wake. Her people were accused of making volunteers turn away from her when she entered a room, and her comments about some flowers she was given have followed her from Venice. But aside from asking reporters to rephrase questions, Madge was all charm on the red carpet for WE.

Xtra joined the throng of media anxious to hear her talk about the secret behind her directing success, what WE is about, and what kind of wine she sees herself as.

WE’s North American debut at TIFF positions it perfectly for the upcoming awards season.
