Pedro Almodóvar’s film The Skin I Live In, the latest from the legendary Spanish director, has hit theatres across North America to mixed reviews.
The film stars Almodóvar’s fellow countrymen Antonio Banderas and Elena Anaya. It is the first time in more than 20 years that Banderas has starred in a film by the director. Based on Thierry Jonquet’s novel Tarantula, the plot follows an immensely gifted plastic surgeon who is haunted by past tragedies.
Xtra caught up with the stars of the film at the Toronto International Film Festival.
