Madonna madness this weekend

Superbowl performance on Feb 5; WE hits select theatres

Madonna will be everywhere this weekend. She not only headlines this weekend’s Superbowl halftime show, but her new movie, WE, will open at select theatres.

Various media outlets, including the New York Post, are reporting a leak of Madge’s Superbowl setlist. It is rumoured that she will perform her new single, “Gimme All Your Luvin’,” and old favourites like “Ray of Light,” “Vogue,” “Music” and “Holiday” during a 12-minute gig on Feb 5.

Meanwhile, reviews for WE haven’t been kind. The Telegraph called it “a stultifyingly vapid film.”

If you live in Toronto you can see for yourself. Releases in Vancouver and Montreal have not been confirmed.

In our video interview below, Madonna talks about WE. Below that is our red carpet coverage of the director while she was in Toronto for TIFF.
