Jem Garrard is a queer Vancouver filmmaker and the co-founder of B/A video, a small production company that focuses on making music videos for local musicians. She recently entered an international competition where the contestants had to create a video for Ringo Starr’s latest single, “Wings,” and was chosen as the winner by Ringo himself!
“To me this song is about a love that is strong, yet impossible,” Garrard says. “A love for someone unobtainable. A love that will never be taken seriously. With this in mind, and Ringo’s sense of humour, we came up with this concept.”
