Seeing yourself for the first time

A couple months ago, I had the opportunity to meet Sam. Sam is bright, energetic, funny and talented. He’s also transgendered.

This week, Sam travelled to Toronto for top surgery. Not wanting his friends to be left in the lurch waiting to hear from him, he decided to make a series of videos about his experience. From his preoperation jitters to the moment of his first reveal, Sam bares it all, from his heart to his brand new chest. Kudos and thanks to him for being so brave and so kind as to let us in on what is, undoubtedly, a very special moment for him.
