Popping Culture: Grace Jones is fit for a queen

It’s no secret that I harbour a great love for Grace Jones.

So it was rather lovely to hear that Ms Jones had been asked to perform at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Concert. Wearing a milliner’s wet dream on her head in the shape of a satin red throne, Jones performed “Slave to the Rhythm” while hula hooping. That kooky gal.
