‘Canada’s Drag Race’ Season 2: After the Sashay with Kimora Amour

Xtra contributor Russ Martin gets all the tea from this week’s eliminated “Drag Race” contestant

Kimora Amour walked into the werk room on Canada’s Drag Race with a mission to showcase Black positivity. And from her rockin’ Tina Turner tribute to her homage to Canadian legend Deborah Cox’s turn as Josephine Baker in the musical Josephine, she delivered in delightful abundance.

Though her run on the show has come to an end, the Scarborough-based drag star won over the audience on Canada’s Drag Race with her charming personality and her potent runway presentations. Following her elimination, Kimora joined Xtra’s After The Sashay to talk about speaking out against racism in drag, her friendship with Anastarzia Anaquway and her powerful “Ugly as Sin” runway inspired by Caribbean slaves.
