‘Canada’s Drag Race’ Season 2: After the Sashay with Synthia Kiss

Xtra contributor Russ Martin gets all the tea from this week’s eliminated “Drag Race” contestant

This week’s episode of Canada’s Drag Race came sealed with a Synthia Kiss. After three powerhouse performances Season 2’s lip sync assassin finally sashayed away from the competition.

Originally hailing from Peterborough, Ontario, Synthia made a name for herself in the Vancouver drag scene as a member of the local girl group sensation the BratPack. When she got the call to join Canada’s Drag Race, so did two of her sisters—fellow BratPack members Kendall Gender and Gia Metric.

After her elimination Synthia joined Xtra’s After The Sashay to chat about lip syncing against Kendall, getting DMs from Canadian fashion legend Jeanne Beker and coming from a very queer family.
